It is in its original configuration with cleaning rod and oiler in its butt. The stock has a cartouche at the wrist, with the date 1901. The wooden handguard is the variant used on the 1899 Model with room to accommodate the larger long range sight of this model. There are additional inspectors' stamps on the underside of the butt.
