Fair to Good. Metal moderately oxidized with a mottled dull gray patina showing salt and pepper discoloration and scattered light surface roughness and some light pitting. Markings with moderate wear and areas of weakness. Mechanically functional lock appears to remain in original flint, but the safety is not under tension, so it moves too easily to function correctly. Smooth bore is fair, dark, moderately oxidized and pitted. Wood fair, well worn, sanded with rounded edges and several cracks, including one running diagonally through the counterpane and side plate. Wood also shows numerous scattered bumps, dings and mars.
