World War II German Luftwaffe M35 steel combat helmet retaining a partially visible Luftwaffe eagle decal on the left side. The shell is stamped ET66, indicating manufacture by Eisenhüttenwerk Thale, with rear skirt lot number 1062. The helmet retains its original rolled-edge M35 configuration, complete liner assembly, and surviving chinstrap. A hand-painted name to the interior rear skirt appears to read “Hecker”, followed by the number 1308, likely identifying the original wearer. The exterior retains a substantial portion of its original textured field-gray finish with scattered service wear and scratches accumulated through wartime use.
