Fine grouping of three U.S. M1905 pattern bayonets, each retaining a leather-covered scabbard with metal throat and belt hook attachment. All three examples feature the classic long 16-inch blade with deep central fuller, originally adopted in 1905 for use with the Springfield Model 1903 rifle and later adapted for early M1 Garand production before being shortened during World War II. Visible ricasso markings include “R.I.A. 1906” and other U.S. inspection and arsenal stamps, indicating Rock Island Arsenal production and early issue examples. The bayonets retain wood grip panels secured by screws, with standard crossguard and pommel configurations incorporating push-button locking mechanisms. The leather scabbards exhibit period construction with riveted reinforcement and wire hooks, consistent with early 20th century U.S. military issue. Dimensions approx.: 22 in. Length Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. Shipping via FedEx Ground/Home within the continental U.S. for $70 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Direct Signature Required. Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Good to very good, with honest service wear throughout. Blades show areas of light pitting, finish loss, and scattered oxidation, with evidence of age and use. Grips display handling wear and minor surface darkening. Scabbards show expected age-related wear, including surface scuffing, dryness to leather, and oxidation to metal fittings, but remain intact and functional.
