Set of four late 19th-century percussion cap tins manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Bridgeport, Connecticut, each marked “Central Fire / Trimmed Edge / Foil Lined.” Gold printed tops with the UMC diamond trademark remain clear and legible. The two unopened tins retain their original green paper side seals marked “100 No. 10 Central Fire Caps,” while the other two reveal clean, intact copper percussion caps within. Collectively representing a uniform series from UMC’s post-merger production line.
