The medallion features the rearing Colt horse logo above the inscription Colt’s Mfg. Co. Hartford, Conn. , mounted on a dark leather strap with brass buckle—likely a promotional watch fob or key tag distributed by Colt in the late 19th to early 20th century. Accompanying it is a forged steel percussion revolver combination tool with folding screwdriver blade and open-end nipple wrench. Such tools were standard accessories with Colt and other percussion revolvers of the mid-19th century, used for removing percussion nipples and general disassembly.
