A fine Colt’s Patent iron bullet mold from the percussion revolver era, featuring dual cavities for casting both round ball and conical projectiles. The block is neatly stamped “COLT’S PATENT” and additionally marked with the small letter “B” and the number “44A,” likely denoting factory identification for the .44 caliber Army model. The piece retains an even aged blue patina, with tight function and well-defined cavities typical of molds supplied with Colt’s 1860 Army revolvers produced in the 1850s–1860s.
