Brown Bess short land pattern musket with Bayonet, in .75 caliber. Has 42" barrel, NSN, Dated 1761. Finished in the white with brass fittings and wood stock. Pre-1777 lock, post-1777 Pratt pipe in stock. Possibly a period restock and rebuild of a Short Land Pattern Musket.
The british military used these for 130 years but they're most notable here for having been used during the American Revolution.
Note: when I put my bore measuring rod down the barrel, there is something soft at the bottom.
Dimensions: 58" long overall.
