A well-crafted iron bullet mold featuring two cavities—one for casting a round ball and the other for a conical bullet. This dual-purpose design offered versatility for small percussion revolvers of the era, allowing shooters to select between ball or conical ammunition depending on preference and availability. The mold shows balanced shaping and a sturdy, functional layout characteristic of American manufacture from the 1850s period. Dimensions approx.: 4.75 x 1.375 in. Provenance: The Al and Carol Cali Collection. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. It can also be delivered to the Annex Auctions facility for pickup in Sacramento for $25 pre-invoice. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.

Condition

Very good, with light age wear and surface marks from use. The hinge and sprue plate operate smoothly, and both cavities remain sharply defined.
