Well-preserved bronze Sudetenland Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938) with attached Prague Castle clasp. The obverse depicts two figures symbolizing the reunification of territories with the German Reich, standing above the national eagle and wreath emblem. Suspended from its period ribbon of black with red center stripe and white edges. The ribbon is fitted with a rectangular bronze clasp depicting Prague Castle, indicating the later award extension for participation in the occupation of Bohemia and Moravia following the annexation of the Sudetenland. The reverse bears the inscription “EIN VOLK EIN REICH EIN FÜHRER” surrounding the date “1. OKTOBER 1938.”
