Germany, WWI–WWII Medal Bar with Iron Cross 2nd Class, Hindenburg Cross with Swords, and Wehrmacht 4-Year Service Medal

Three-place medal bar mounted on original ribbons with long horizontal pin-back. Includes: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1 914– Awarded for bravery or leadership in WWI. Blackened iron center with silver frame, crowned “W / 1914” obverse, crowned “FW / 1813” reverse. Hindenburg Cross of Honor with Swords – Issued 1934 to WWI front-line veterans. Bronze alloy, “1914–1918” in wreath, swords through arms, maker “G14” reverse. Wehrmacht Long Service Medal, 4 Years – Instituted 1936, for loyal service in the German armed forces. Silvered zinc, eagle and swastika with “Für treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht,” numeral “4” reverse. Blue ribbon with eagle device. Mixed-metal construction, die-struck, ribbons on green felt backing. Dimensions: Approx. 2.75 x 4 in. Provenance: The Estate of Walter Redling, Encino, Ca. Pickup & Shipping: This lot may be picked up free of charge in Gardnerville, NV. Condition

Very Good. Minor oxidation to Iron Cross frame, light wear to Hindenburg Cross, silver finish on Wehrmacht medal toned. Ribbons bright with light soiling. Mounting intact.
