A group of four German naval cap tallies, each constructed of woven fabric with embroidered gilt or silver thread inscriptions. The group includes:
S.M.S. Rheinland
(battleship of the Nassau class, launched 1908 and active in World War I, including the Battle of Jutland),
Kriegsmarine
(standard tally of the German Navy during World War II),
Rheinland
(possibly from the training ship or regional designation), and a
Legion Condor
tunic cuff title (the volunteer German unit active in the Spanish Civil War, 1936–1939). Collectively, these pieces span Imperial, interwar, and WWII German naval history.
