A Luftwaffe Front Flying Clasp for Bomber crews, die-struck in tombac or zinc with a gilt finish. The badge consists of a central darkened bomb motif pointing downward, set within a gilt oak-leaf wreath surmounted by a small swastika. To each side extend stylized gilt oak-leaf wings. The reverse is fitted with a long horizontal pin-back, hinge, and catch assembly. This clasp in gold was awarded to bomber aircrew after completing 110 operational missions, recognizing sustained service in combat operations. Dimensions: 1 x 3 in.
