Imperial Russian Model 1881 Dragoon Shashka cavalry saber retaining its original wood scabbard with brass mounts and suspension ring. The curved single-fuller blade bears Imperial Russian arsenal and inspection markings including a dated stamp appearing “1900г.” and serial numbering on the ricasso. Brass hilt with characteristic knuckle bow and deeply carved wooden grip scales. A classic late Imperial Russian cavalry pattern associated with Dragoon service prior to the Russian Revolution.
