Compact mid-19th-century copper powder flask embossed with an American eagle in flight clutching arrows and an olive branch, symbols of defense and peace. The brass top retains its original adjustable spout and spring charger, consistent with flasks produced for the civilian and militia markets during the 1840s–1860s. Though unmarked, the form and construction are characteristic of American Flask & Cap Co. and Batty-type examples made in Connecticut and New York for military pistols and sporting arms. Complete with dual suspension rings and warm aged patina.
