Circular cast metal National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) identification plaque featuring the NSKK eagle-and-wreath emblem beneath the inscription “Landesgruppe Nordrhein” and “Unser Motor dient dem Vaterland” (“Our Motor Serves the Fatherland”). Reverse is maker marked “Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid,” a well-known German manufacturer of badges, insignia, and metal fittings during the Third Reich period. Two mounting holes are present for attachment to a vehicle, display board, or organizational property. An unusual relic from Germany’s principal motorized paramilitary organization.
