Silvered and gilted badge in the form of the crowned Polish eagle, finely detailed with outstretched wings and gilt feathering. Beneath is a round shield with raised beaded border, bearing the number “3” affixed at center, designating the 3rd Infantry Regiment. Reverse fitted with screw-back fastener and round brass retaining disk stamped “Arthus Bertrand Warszawa,” a known maker of Polish military insignia in the interwar period. These regimental eagle badges were worn by officers on the uniform breast as a mark of unit pride and affiliation.

Very Good. Attractive darkened patina with gilt highlights intact. Screwback mechanism complete and functional; reverse disk with clear maker’s mark. Minor wear from age and handling.
