Mid-19th century copper powder flask embossed with a large scallop shell motif surrounded by acanthus leaf scrolls, with a brass adjustable charger marked in grains (2¼–3¾) and a functioning blue spring. The charger bears the stamped mark AMFLASK&CAP Co., used by the American Flask & Cap Company of Waterbury, Connecticut, active circa 1850–1870. Retains an original green cord with tassels attached through suspension rings, an uncommon surviving accessory.
