A compelling late 19th-century Anglo-Indian gentleman’s cane featuring a distinctive dual boar’s tusk handle. The tusks are set into a bold, octagonal central mount crafted from engraved white metal, likely nickel alloy or another non-precious metal, with no hallmarks present. The shaft is composed of dark horn and decorated with evenly spaced inlaid rings of bone or similar organic material, creating a visually dynamic striped effect. The cane is finished with a metal ferrule.

Condition
Very good overall. Boar’s tusks display minor age toning and natural surface striations. The white metal mount is clean with wear and patina appropriate to age. Shaft is straight with bone or antler inlays intact; a small age crack is visible near the lower portion of the shaft, stable and not detracting from presentation.
