World War Two French Model 1926 Adrian steel helmet retaining a green-painted finish with age and service wear throughout. The front bears the stamped artillery badge featuring a flaming grenade above crossed cannons and the letters “RF” (République Française). Interior retains portions of the original chinstrap hardware, while the liner has been removed, leaving the original mounting structure in place. A faint period-applied ink or painted marking remains visible inside the shell. The Adrian helmet became one of the most recognizable combat helmets of the First World War and remained in French service for many years thereafter, This M26 was a simplified version that ended up being used in WW2.

Original liner is absent, though liner mounting hardware remains present. Partial leather chinstrap survives with expected age-related wear. Interior exhibits scattered oxidation and remnants of period markings.
