WWII-period German Police Fire Service (Feuerschutzpolizei) steel helmet retaining its original black finish, aluminum comb, and police fire service decals to both sides. The left side displays the Police eagle shield decal, while the right side retains the national tricolor shield. The interior rear skirt bears a faint stamped approval/manufacturer marking. Of particular note is a dramatic area of damage to the left side of the shell consisting of a large puncture accompanied by secondary tearing and deformation. The helmet retains its original liner and chinstrap assembly and presents as a compelling wartime relic.
